Thomas Patrick didn't start Centerpoint Properties to build more homes. He started it to build better ones.
He spent years as a lead builder for one of the region's largest production home builders — constructing more than 100 homes across Northwest Arkansas. He learned the craft from the ground up: framing, systems, sequencing, inspections, working with cities and engineers across dozens of projects.
He also learned what happens when volume becomes more important than the people living in the homes.
When he was asked to do work he knew wasn't right — work that would affect real families in their homes — he walked away. Not eventually. Right then.
